Wow! Thank you Mark.....

Beautiful review. Personally I love the Masterpiece 6, the Masterpiece 8, the Masterpiece Chronograph I, the Chronograph Monopoussoir and the Tonneau. Actually just one of them will make me fly to the moon....and stay there:) Cheers Francois

My pleasure Nicolas :)

I agree with your approach, especially when you think about something you may be wearing if you had it. Although, on pictures, the MR10 looks a bit busy (it was my first impression when I discovered it) it must be a real beauty in the metal with this open

Some serious pieces of Dream!

My favs being the simpler ones, and, among the most complicated the Minute Repeater 10, the Masterpiece 8, the Jura ( or Alps ) Mountain GMT, and the Astronomy. These dials are so delicious, so exquisite. The Chronometre 27 is superb, too. Thank you so mu

An overall view of Kari Voutilainen's collection, present and past.

Good evening gentlemen, As I've been reading Kari Voutilainen's book cleverly written by Theodore Diehl lately and as I had a wide look at articles on the internet, I also had an overall look at Voutilainen's unique or very limited pieces and how some are

We are truly not worthy!

KV Masterpiece #8!!! Now that's what I call a "nice 3-hand watch," Allen! Not only is it one of Kari's very few decimal repeaters, as you know extremely well it is the design progenitor (especially with regard to dial design) to Kari's landmark Observatoi

Words to live by...

"Those who are sick of the Double Split, are sick of life..." Indeed! That DB piece was a revelation to me as well. It is number 2, and comes (obviously) from the very early days of DB. The true story is that the central guilloche on that watch factored i

Good eye!

Given the lighting it was very hard to pick out (in photographs) that Masterpiece 8 does indeed have the VIII in a different color than the other numerals. Excellent catch -- and thanks for the kind remarks! I felt privileged to be able to attend the GTG,
